There are three basic wardrobe essentials that no guys wardrobe should go without: neutral knits, a basic black blazer, and a clean white shirt. Not only are they classic, but they can be styled effortlessly into any type of look---casual or dressy. And as most of you who follow me on Instagram already know of me is that I find versatility is key.
Here I've styled these three, with a few of my other favorites. One of which is becoming a new essential on its own: a pair of joggers. These in particular are herringbone knit, which elevate an otherwise sporty look. Another way to elevate a look with casual undertones is to throw a white shirt into the mix. Its a quick and easy way to add a touch of luxe to any menswear look.
I am an urban nomad at heart and a wanderlust soul. One thing that I always push myself to do is go out into nature and explore while centering myself. There's something about sitting in the stillness of what is otherwise a barren landscape, like in the desert, and letting the gentleness of the wind carry all the b.s. away. Taking advantage of the fact that I was in Palm Springs this past weekend, on the way back to the city I ventured off and explored old roads that lead to nowhere. Lately I find it to be one of my absolute favorite things to do, believe it or not. The this that you never know what you'll find out in that stillness, but I can guarantee that what does end up coming your way is exactly what you'll need in that moment. The desert, and nature, ultimately has a way of finding you not the other way around. Still on the high from my recent experience, here I am wearing what has become my go-to weekend outfit of choice: a slightly oversized coat, relaxed fit trousers, and sneakers. It was a bit on the cool side so luckily I had this new asymmetrical mesh coat I just recently acquired on over my otherwise barely-there razor back tank top. Theres something about an understated and urban sense of comfort that lately just resonates with me. After all, clothes, like life, should be effortless
